Thermodynamic study of working fluid pairs for an absorption refrigeration process
Résumé
In this study four BBSs are investigated namely cyrene, propylene carbonate, anisole and -valerolactone. One of the fundamental requirements for absorption refrigeration process is the high refrigerant absorption capacity. Thus, new experimental vapor-liquid-equilibria data for {CO2+BBS} systems are determined, using a calorimetric and a spectroscopic technique, at temperatures from 263.15 K to 373.15 K and pressures from 0.5 to 15 MPa. All available experimental data for these systems are used to develop an appropriate thermodynamic model capable of reproducing phase equilibria. Finally, this thermodynamic model is used to compare CO2 solubility in the four BBSs at the operating conditions of vapor absorption
refrigeration cycle.
